Case: a large printing company in Philadelphia, PA hired our team to monitor the power of a Scanner that was giving them problems for a few months. They had several service calls on the scanner with no explanation of why components were failing.  Within one week of monitoring the incoming power to the scanner,  we traced the problem back to the main 100KVA transformer. This transformer had a loose connection which would have caused a complete failure, inadvertently prevented the plant from complete power failure.
